Marcel-Henri Lamarque

Marcel-Henri Lamarque

Marcel-Henri Lamarque, M-H, is an aviation bred independent consultant. His experience has been built during his 42-year career in aviation. M-H specializes in management systems, ground and cargo operations as well as security management.

 

M-H served in ground and cargo operations for 25 years managing stations, home and abroad, managing ground operations at corporate level. It’s also at corporate level that M-H was in charge of the Air France partners oversight gaining skills in all operational areas of aviation, while taking active part in the inception and development of the industry safety audit programs.

 

Over the last 13 years, serving in a leadership position of an IATA audit organization, M-H conducted multiple types of audit and workshops, delivered a range of trainings and contributed to the evolution of aviation safety oversight programs.



 
Captain Jean-Paul Pirson

Captain Jean-Paul Pirson

Jean-Paul Pirson is seasoned aviation professional with an aviation career that spans more than 46 years. Belgian born and raised, most of his aviation education is either American or British. Jean-Paul brings a wealth of experience encompassing passenger and cargo, scheduled or non-scheduled, short and long-haul operations under the oversight of various aviation authorities in Europe and oversees. He was involved in several airline start ups and entry into service of new aircraft type.

Jean-Paul held various management positions such as Chief-Pilot, Director of Operations and VP Safety. Starting as a commercial pilot in general aviation, he rapidly entered the airline world, became a Captain at age 27 and moved on to become Training Captain and management pilot.

Beyond US and European Airline Pilot Licenses, Jean-Paul holds a Master degree in Air Transport Management and a Post-Graduate diploma in Air Safety Management both granted by City University of London (UK); he accumulated some 16,000 flight hours operating over 11 types of aircraft and variants, turboprops and turbojets, from the Citation Jet to the Boeing 747.

He is a certified IOSA (IATA) [FLT, DSP & CAB disciplines] auditor conducting audits world- wide since 2014. French is his mother-tongue, he fluently speaks Dutch and English at full professional level, and have some basic understanding of the Chinese language.

 
Captain Dick Powers

Captain Dick Powers

Captain Dick Powers has more than 50 years’ experience in airline operations and support. He qualified on nine different aircraft types during his flying career, serving as check airman and FAA designated examiner. 

Dick held management positions in flight operations and training at two FAA Part 121 carriers including Director of Flight Standards and Senior Manager Flight Training. 

After retiring from flying he has spent more than 10 years as an IOSA lead auditor in the ORG, FLT, DSP, and CAB disciplines, conducting more than 50 IOSA audits all over the world. He currently functions as a Lead Auditor and Evaluator for the FedEx Express Internal Evaluation Program.



 
Marleen Nuyts

Marleen Nuyts

Marleen Nuyts is the Manager Director of Marleen Nuyts consultant Comm V, based partly in Belgium,  partly in the UAE since 2001.

She has a vast experience  in Ground Handling Quality Safety and Procedures for Airlines, Ground Handlers and Airports. Since the very beginning of the IOSA program (2004)  she is a certified  auditor for GRH (Ground Handling), CGO (Cargo) and SEC (Security).

Marleen has been Station Manager of Malaysia airlines and Director Ground Operations for Air Belgium and Constellation Airlines for which she was Post Holder and responsible for Ground and Cargo Operations but was also  a fuel buyer and fuel hedger and auditor for these airlines.

Marleen is Lead Coordinator for ORAT (Operational Readiness for airports) mainly for Green field Airports. She leads and Coordinated trials for Passenger Terminals, Cargo Terminal, Aircraft Ramp Handling and Fuel farms.

She was member of teams to start up new airlines in the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe.

 
Jan-Lou Mirial

Jan-Lou Mirial

After serving a year in the French Air Force as radar controller, Jan-Lou started his civilian career in 1975 when he joined UTA French Airlines as a DC8 Flight Engineer.  In 1983 he was sent on assignment to Air Inter, the French domestic airline where he flew Caravelle for two years.

Back in UTA Jan-Lou enjoyed the DC-10 and B747 flying experiences as Flight Engineer, FLlght Engineer Instructor, Civil Aviation Flight Examiner, and French Airlines Flight Crew Expert.  He also had office assignments as Executive Flight Engineer.

Following the merger of UTA and Air France in 1992, Jan-Lou remained an Instructor and CAA Flight Examiner.  He then joined the Crew Training Center Executive Team to create the Air France TRTO.  In 2000 he was posted as Chairman of the Health and Occupational Safety Committee while being the head of Air Crew Human Resources Department.

Jan-Lou took part on various conferences and forums including ICAO and IATA task forces for de/anti-icing and Dangerous Goods.  In 2008 Jan-Lou became a Quality Auditor and passed the IAT course in 2009.  Today Jan-Lou is an IATA Lead Auditor & Evaluator approved for ORG, FLT, DSP, CAB and SEC disciplines of IOSA.  Jan-Lou is a QC team member and was a Proficiency Level Manager at Quali-audit.



 
Michael Bures

Michael Bures

Michael Bures began his aviation career as an Aircraft Mechanic working in General Aviation in the mid-1970‘s prior to his employment with Federal Express beginning in 1980. Michael’s career at FedEx spanned 38 years. His assignments included various Aircraft Maintenance positions over the course of 17 years before he transferred to the Quality Assurance Department where he conducted Aircraft Maintenance, Ground Handling, and Cargo audits for an additional 21 years. 

Michael retired from FedEx in 2018 and is now an independent aviation safety consultant and IOSA auditor qualified in the Maintenance (MNT) discipline.

 
Philippe Reichen

Philippe Reichen

Philippe Reichen started his career in the aviation industry more than 35 years ago. Starting in aircraft assembly for the F5 Northrop fighter aircraft, then progressing into the aircraft maintenance and engineering area with business aviation and airline maintenance as a licensed Engine and Aircraft Engineer. He held several management positions with an airline such as Manager Engine Shop, Heavy Maintenance, Director Engineering, and VP Maintenance. 

He was a member of the Swiss Accident Investigation group and participated in accident investigations. He was the delegate of the Board of Directors for an engine parts repair facility and established a Part 145 aircraft repair station for VIP operators. He is the owner of IBD Consulting. He is a senior consultant, trainer, and accredited auditor for several different aviation standards such as IOSA, ISBAO, BARS, ARGUS, and an in-depth understanding of various regulators’ aviation regulations as EASA, FAA, GACA, NAA’s. He teaches classes for different organizations in the subject matters Safety Management System (SMS), Internal Auditor, and a visiting lecturer for Airworthiness at the University of London City.

Captain Fabien Laval

Fabien LAVAL started in 1984 as Civil Aviation Engineer and Accident Investigator at the French Aircraft Accident Investigation Board (BEA) and became in 1989 commercial pilot for Air France. He has a flight experience of 13.000 hours on various types like Fokker 100, Airbus A320, Boeing 747- 400 and now flies the Boeing B777 as captain and line instructor.

He created the Safety Department of the French airline AIR INTER and was Air France lead investigator on main accident investigations (St Odile 1992, Toronto 2005).

From 2002 to 2007 he founded and chaired the IOSA Flight Operations (FLT) & Dispatch (DSP) Task Force, in charge of creating these IOSA Standards. 

In 2005, he co-founded Quali-audit, an IOSA Audit Organisation. He there built an IATA Endorsed Training Organisation and different audit, training and implementation programs for Quality and Safety Management. He performed more than 30 IOSA audits as IOSA Lead Auditor or Auditor for ORG, FLT, DSP and CAB disciplines and was an IOSA Auditor Training (IAT) Instructor.  He is President of FLITE, a firm dedicated to training, auditing and consulting in the fields of Civil Aviation operations.

Captain Pat Jordan

Pat Jordan is President, Patric Jordan & Associates, a management consulting firm specializing in airline safety, operations, pilot training and fuel efficiency. Pat has a broad range of experience in aviation operations, quality systems and business development spanning his 40-year career in aviation.

Pat is also President, APUTRAC, LLC, providing state-of-the art technology solutions for tracking and managing auxiliary power unit (APU) resources for airlines and aviation companies.

During his career at Delta Air Lines, he served in several leadership positions including General Manager, International Alliance Operations, General Manager, Finance and Administration, and Chief Pilot – Cincinnati.  He retired from Delta as a Captain flying the Boeing 767 on Delta’s international routes.  Following his retirement from Delta, Pat was hired as the General Manager, Delta Pilot Training Services, charged with responsibility for improving the division’s financial performance.

During the past 20 years, Captain Jordan has conducted numerous workshops and training sessions around the world in the areas of Aviation Auditing, Safety Management and Quality Systems, Fuel Efficiency, Fuel Program Implementation and Airline Operations Cost Management.
