IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Training & Preparation
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, airlines are struggling for survival and looking for ways to streamline their operations , reduce costs, and yet maintain the highest levels of Safety and Quality. Many airlines are reducing staffing levels and cutting back critical programs, which may ultimately impact their Safety and Quality. Despite these reductions, the requirement for airlines to continue to audit their operations, to include the auditing of the IOSA Standards and Recommended Practices (ISARPs) remains.
Airlines are now hiring new staff who have not yet been trained on aviation auditing and IOSA. Our programs have been designed to specifically address this need.
To support airlines during this time, PJA is offering training and support services to help ensure that the high standards of IOSA are maintained and that the airline continues to ensure their documentation and implementation of ISARPs is monitored on a regular basis.
Our team of highly experienced IOSA experts will provide initial and recurrent training for IOSA auditors and responsible managers. This training takes place in the classroom and as on-the-job training through the conduct of a gap analysis. This gap analysis will identify areas of deficiency and will be presented in a final report that is proprietary and confidential to the airline.
Our timeline would allow for sufficient time to update operations manuals, receive manual approvals from the respective authority, and conduct the IOSA renewal audit with the maximum lead-time permitted by the IOSA program. This is an excellent way to prepare for your upcoming IOSA audit.
